With the 2019 Pacific baseball season just over a month away, the boys of spring are set to return to Klein Family Field today with the official start of practice.
Pacific is set to break in 16 new players this season and return 22 other players that saw game action in 2018. Returners for 2019 include junior catcher James Free II, sophomore infielder Alex LeForestier and Ryan Shreve, who had the highest ERA on the team in 2018 behind Shelby Lackey and Cooper Casad who both went on to play professional baseball
Head coach Ryan Garko and his staff also return for their second year at the helm of the program and are tasked with figuring out how the pieces fit together to form the best lineup possible from the turned over roster.
