STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers cruised to a win in game two today behind the strengths of their bats, winning 11-5 over the Pepperdine Waves. Matt Tarantino set a new career best with four hits while James Free II matched his career-high RBI output with four in the win. Pacific is 10-11 now, while Pepperdine is 11-10.
"It was a good feeling to get one," said Tarantino about the doubleheader. "We'll go out there again tomorrow and just try to get another one."
Will Lydon worked six strong innings for the Tigers en route to the win.
