PROVO, Utah – The University of the Pacific baseball team dominated the Brigham Young University Cougars on Friday night to even the series with a 9-3 victory.
The Tigers improve to 21-29 overall and 10-16 in conference action, while the Cougars fall to 22-27 on the season and 11-15 in the conference.
In the top of the second inning, the Tigers momentum started to fly, as they took a quick 3-0 lead. Ryan Schalch was walked to lead off followed by Tyler Ryan reaching on a fielder's choice and advancing to second on an error, which moved Schalch to third.
