Tigers Nipped Late In 3-2 Loss

Stockton, Calif. - Heartbreak late sent Pacific field hockey home with a loss as the Kent State Golden Flashes scored with zero time left on the clock off a corner to get the 3-2 win. The Tigers fall to 0-2 with the loss and will now head off on a four-game road trip, with their next game coming this Thursday at 11:00 am against Harvard. Kent State is now 4-1.

Pacific took the lead first thanks to a partial breakaway by Alicia Muiños and Ali Campos. Muiños forced a turnover near the top of the circle and dribbled in, finding Campos standing alone in front of the goal.
