STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tiger softball team fell 9-8 to Nevada on Wednesday night, resulting in an elimination from the National Invitational Softball Championships. Nevada will now face Cal Poly in the regional final tomorrow at noon.
Hailey Reed started in the circle for the second time today, going six innings with five strikeouts with six earned. Haylee Moran-Rowen went 4-for-4 at the plate with two batted in and a run scored. Rachel Sellers and Cassidy Gustafson both went 2-for-4 with doubles while Reed added two RBIs. The loss ends the season for Pacific with a 29-26 overall record while the win brings Nevada to 30-24.
