Stockton, Calif. – After a stellar September in which they went 6-1, the Pacific men's soccer team was voted as Hero Sports' Team of the Month, as was announced today. Additionally Julio Cervantes was also voted as Hero Sports' HERO of the Week after receiving nearly 60% of the votes.
After falling to UC Davis earlier in the month, the Tigers have rattled off six-straight victories to bring them to a 7-2 record. In Pacific's most impressive win, the Tigers upset No. 11 NSCAA-ranked San Diego State 2-0 to give the program their first win against a ranked opponent since their reinstatement in 2014.
