There’s a rising Starr on the Pacific women’s basketball staff.
The Tigers announced the promotion of Amy Starr to associate head coach on Wednesday, moving her from her previous position of assistant coach. The upcoming basketball season will be Starr’s fourth with Pacific.
As a member of the Tigers’ staff, Starr has helped the Tigers to a West Coast Conference semifinals run, as well as the team’s best record in recent history in 2017-2018.
She also played an important role in helping Anaya Brooklyn McDavid earn All-WCC Freshman Team honors and ALL-WCC Honorable Mention recognition as a freshman.
