SAN BRUNO, Calif. - 50 Tigers were recognized for their academic achievement in the 17th annual WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll, the WCC announced Thursday morning.
Balancing athletic success with academic excellence, for the seventh consecutive year over 1,000 WCC student-athletes garnered honors on the Commissioner's Honor Roll for possessing at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
In addition, 17 student athletes were awarded with the highest accolade, Gold honors, achieving a 3.75 GPA and above during the 2017-2018 academic year.
More than 1,450 student-athletes qualified for recognition, establishing a conference record for the fifth consecutive season.
