STOCKTON — Emily Simons stood at mid-court to pose for a picture with her parents, Margaret and Andrew Simons by her side.
Pacific's mascot, PowerCat, jumped in for a couple quick clicks of the smart phone camera.
Thursday's game was Simons' last in a Tigers uniform at Spanos Center. And though the photos will provide her with fond memories for a life time, reminiscing a victory years from now would have made them that much sweeter.
The Pacific women's basketball didn't have the size or ball control skills to stay with Santa Clara, who earned a 61-51 win in front of 595 fans.
