Pacific men's golf is in 11th following the opening two rounds of the Mark Simpson Colorado Invite in Erie, Colorado.
The Tigers fought the course, the field and tough playing conditions as thunderstorms rolled into the Boulder, Colorado area on Monday afternoon. For stretches of the opening rounds, golfers had to fight wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Tournament hosts Colorado lead at eight-under-par as a team. The Tigers are 30-strokes over par and are just two strokes out of the top-10.
Pacific's junior, Austin Fox, led the way in Monday's opening rounds thanks to shooting a two-under-par 70 on the opening 18 holes.
