STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific softball team host its home opener this Friday against Sacramento State at 3:30 PM before playing Seattle at 5:45 PM on day one of the Libby Matson Tournament. On Saturday, the Tigers will take on head coach Brian Kolze's alma mater Cal State Northridge at 12:15 PM before battling Seattle at 4:45 PM. The Orange and Black will cap off the tournament against Sacramento State at 12:15 PM on Sunday.
Last weekend at the Stanford Nike Invitational, the Tigers experienced a setback after dropping three games. In game two against UC Santa Barbara, Pacific scored two in the bottom of the seventh to force extras.
