BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of the Pacific baseball team takes down #12 Indiana, 2-1, on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 7-8 on the season, while the Hoosiers fall to 9-4 overall.
The Tigers took a quick 1-0 lead at the top of the first. Bradley Jekich led off and reached first on a walk. With two outs, James Free stepped up to bat and singled through the left side to score Jekich for the first run of the game.
In the bottom of the third, the Hoosiers tied the game up 1-1 off back to back doubles.
