STOCKTON, Calif. - The Tiger softball team travels to Berkeley this Wednesday to take on the #23 Bears (12-1) at 3 PM in their home opener. Pacific (6-7) will then host the Louisville Slugger Tournament Friday to Sunday as Seton Hall, Portland State and East Carolina come to town.
Last weekend during the Libby Matson Tournament, the Tigers opened up play by beating Seattle 2-1 in eight innings. Marissa Young went the distance in the victory, allowing one earned run while striking out nine. On Saturday the Tigers fell 2-0 to Cal State Northridge before bouncing back to defeat Seattle 9-7.
