We prepared around 2,400 boxes which were filled with various items like, stuffing mix, mash potatoes, canned vegetable and dessert items. This included making the boxes and lids from pallets of flat cardboard.
As we arrived we were given some basic direction on what we needed to do, and within 15 minutes,the team set up a system that worked like clockwork.
We had an awesome time, it was obvious to me that the girls were proud to not only represent the UOP Softball program and the University but feel like they were part of something special by helping those that could not normally enjoy a Traditional Thanksgiving Meal.
