Tigers Get First Win of the Season in Walk-off Fashion

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Tigers got their first win of the young season in game two of the day as they topped North Dakota State 2-1 in walk-off fashion, bringing Pacific to 1-2 on the year. In game one of the day, the Tigers fell to Ole Miss 9-0 in five innings. Kenya Linstrom got the starting nod for Pacific, going 3.1 innings, yielding three earned runs in the loss. Sydney Lahners went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate and Rachel Sellers added two walks. In game two, freshman Hailey Reed scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly by Sydney Lahners for the 2-1 victory and Cassidy Gustafson pitched the distance.
