Tigers Finish Strong at WCC Championships

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Pacific cross country team finished in seventh place on Friday at the West Coast Conference Championships on Friday afternoon at the Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland, Calif.. No. 4 San Francisco took first in the 6K race, with Pacific finishing ahead of Saint Mary's, Santa Clara and Pepperdine.

As she's done all season, sophomore Jasmine Gonzales paced the Orange and Black across the line with a time of 22:00.1, which was enough for a 33rd place finish. Emma Winkler followed with a career-best 22:19.7 and Saira Purhar came across the line next with a 22:34.
