Tigers Fall to Wildcats and Beavers on Day One of Oregon State Tournament

CORVALLIS, Ore. – It was a tough day for the Tigers as they dropped two four-set matches to Kansas State and Oregon State to open 2017 play.

Sophomore outside hitter Skylar Wine recorded a career-best 22 kills against K-State to open tournament play for the Tigers.

After cruising through the first set, the Tigers were unable to take another set from the Wildcats and eventually dropped the match, 25-15, 26-28, 13-25, 29-31.

Wine, who hit a team-best .471, was one of four Pacific players to record double-digit kills -- Andie Shelton and Emily Baptista each had 16 kills, while Ashlyn Fleming collected 12 kills on the afternoon.
