SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team fell to the University of San Francisco on Friday afternoon, 4-3.
The Tigers fall to 3-12 overall and 0-2 in conference action, while the Dons improve to 4-10 and 1-0 in conference play.
Pacific claimed the first point of the match winning the doubles' competition. Ross Watson and Nathan Hampton picked up the first win on No. 3 doubles defeating their opponents, Paul Giraud and Marco Barretto, by a score of 6-2.
No. 2 doubles finished last with Tadiwa Chinamo and Bernardo Oliveira picking up the deciding point, retiring their opponents, Johan Joenhagen and Mert Zincirl, by a score of 6-2.
