STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team fell in its final home match of the season on Saturday afternoon, 4-0, to the University of San Diego.
The Tigers fall to 6-17 on the season and 3-6 in the West Coast Conference.
In doubles play, all three courts went to tie breakers but USD pulled away with the doubles point to start the match. In No. 1 doubles, Akram El Sallaly and Bernardo Oliveira fell short with a 7-6 decision and a 7-5 tie break.
In No. 3 doubles, Mikayel Khachatryan and John Horoz Garner were just shy of defeating their opponents in a 7-6 and 7-5 tie break decision.
