Pacific men's tennis (2-4) battled all day long against a solid UNLV team (6-1), bit came up short in a 4-3 loss at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
With wins at No. 1 doubles from Tiger juniors Akram El Sallaly and Ross Watson and freshman Josef Southcombe and junior Nathan Hampton at No. 3 doubles, but couldn't carry momentum into singles play in the loss. Watson did pick up a win at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-4 over Richard Solberg and junior Tadiwa Chinamo won at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-4, to improve to 4-2 in singles this season.
