Pacific women's basketball (12-6, 4-3 WCC) fell at home today to a sharp-shooting Loyola Marymount team (11-9, 4-4 WCC), 72-67.
The Lions shot 45.5% from the field in the game and built a lead in the first half after shooting better than 53.3% to start the game. The Tiger offense wasn't able to get going until late in the game. It shot 33.8% for the game and trailed from the 4:51 mark in the first quarter on.
Pacific pulled back in the fourth quarter and cut down LMU's lead to as little as five points, but was unable to complete their second-straight come from behind win.
