Pacific baseball (16-16, 4-8 WCC) fell in the series finale to Gonzaga (14-14, 7-5 WCC) on Sunday, 3-0. The Tigers entered the day with a chance to take the series from the defending West Coast Conference Champions, but couldn't come through.
The game was all about pitching in the series finale. Junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Shreve put together yet another quality start in the complete game. He threw all eight innings allowing five hits and three runs, all of which were earned. His counterpart, Max Lardner, was just a little bit better; Lardner threw seven scoreless innings with four hits allowed and a walk.
