FRESNO, Calif. - The women's swimming and diving team put up a valiant fight but fell short in their dual meet to Fresno State, 189-104 Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers took three events in their nonconference friendly against the Bulldogs winning the 400 free relay, 100 freestyle, and 200 freestyle events.
Meredith Lillie led the way for the Orange and Black pacing her team with a first place finish in the 400 freestyle relay event as well as finishing first in the 100 free.
"We swam a bit frenetic today and even though the results didn't necessarily show it I'm really proud of the way we performed today," Head Coach Pete Richardson stated.
