Tigers Fall To Cougars In Game One

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific baseball team dropped the opening game of a three-game West Coast Conference series with BYU Thursday, 6-0.

Ryan Shreve didn't allow an earned run, but took the loss as the Cougars scored five runs with two outs in the fifth.

Kevin Sandri posted two of the Tigers' four hits on the afternoon with Blake Barry and Lucas Halstead each picking up one hit.

BYU starter Maverik Buffo went 8.1 innings scattering four hits, as he and Shreve posted zeros though four innings.
