Pacific baseball took a tough loss in 15 innings tonight at California Baptist, 3-1.
Pacific's pitching was outstanding in the marathon 15-inning-game, but the Lancers was just a little bit better. The two teams held each other scoreless from the fourth inning up until the 15th when a two-out RBI double ended Pacific's chance at a momentum building road win.
Pacific's pitching was stellar in the loss. The Tigers used four pitchers which combined to allow just nine hits and three runs while striking out 16 batters. Senior left-handed pitcher Ricky Reynoso went seven full innings striking out 10 Lancers and walking only one.
