LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The No. 7 women's water polo team fell, 8-4, to UCLA in the NCAA Quarterfinal on Friday.
Pacific finishes it's 2018 campaign with an overall record of 18-8. UCLA improves to 23-7, moving on to the semifinals to play No. 1 USC.
In a back-forth-battle from the opening jump ball, the Tigers were locked in contention with the Bruins. The Tigers found six opportunities on goal, Viktoria Szmodics and Mariana Duarte leading the way with two shots each, but unfortunately could not convert as UCLA kept them at bay.
