Pacific men's tennis (4-12, 1-3 WCC) dropped a West Coast Conference match on the road in Malibu to Pepperdine (7-8, 1-1 WCC), 4-0 on Friday.
Pepperdine took the doubles point with a 6-1 win on court three and went on to win a close match on court one, 6-4 to take an early 1-0 lead. Pepperdine went on to win matches in singles on courts five and four before eventually clinching the match with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court one.
Junior Tadiwa Chinamo played in one of the closest matches of the day on court three, but was nearing defeat in a 6-3, 5-3 match before the Waves clinched the match.
