STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific baseball team fell to the University of San Diego on Friday night, 7-4.
The Orange and Black fall to 7-14 on the season and 0-4 in conference action, while the Toreros improve to 11-11 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
The Tigers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. With one out, Alex LeForestier grabbed the first hit of the game with a single to left field. On a 1-2 count, James Free ended up walking due to being hit by the pitch, advancing LeForestier to second.
