Pacific women's basketball (6-3) went on the road to Lamar (7-4) and came out on the short end of a battle between a strong offense and a stout defense.
Pacific shot 44% from the field in the game and shot nearly 60% through the first half and had four players score in double figures in sophomores Lianna Tillman, Valerie Higgins and Brooklyn McDavid and senior Ameela Li.
However, the Cardinals forced an uncharacteristic 32 turnovers from Pacific while cleaning up on the offensive boards with 22 rebounds. In total, 59 of Lamar's 82 points were second-chance points and turnovers.
