Pacific men's soccer (6-2-1) picked up a big win over a good team at Knoles Field on Sunday. The Tigers scored four goals in the opening half to see off UC Irvine (6-3-1), 4-2. Irvine entered the game on a three-match win streak and defeated No. 22 San Francisco on Thursday.
"I'm really pleased with the group after we turned around following an emotional result the other night against Stanford. For us to have a performance that saw us up 4-0 at halftime, made me really pleased to see our application out of the gate and the work we did to get ourselves in that position," head coach Ryan Jorden said.
