LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Pacific softball team split it's doubleheader against LMU on Saturday to open up the first day of conference play. The Orange and Black (11-22) take on LMU (18-21-1) once more on Sunday to wrap up a three-game series.
Game 1:
The Tigers battled through a close affair with the Lions in their first game of the afternoon. Following a scoreless first, Pacific had a chance to score in the top of the second as Bradi Kooyman hit a two-out double to left center for the go-ahead run but LMU closed out the inning to leave her stranded.
