Tigers Edged by San Diego, 3-1

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - A late goal was not enough for the Pacific women's soccer team as they fell to San Diego 3-1 in the Tigers' first West Coast Conference road contest of the season. Bryndís Rún Thórólfsdóttir scored in the 69th minute and Regan Heslop added six saves on Saturday night.

With the loss, Pacific falls to 4-8-2 overall and 1-2 in WCC play. The win brings San Diego to 4-8 on the year including 2-0 in conference action.

The back-and-forth contest started with Pacific taking two shots in the first eight minutes of action and the Toreros firing of one which required a save by goalie Regan Heslop.
