Tigers Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific women's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches (formally the NSCAA) Team Academic award for the 2016-17 academic year, the organization announced today. It is the fifth consecutive year and seventh time in the last eight years the Tigers have earned this distinction.

The Orange and Black posted a 3.48 GPA during the 2016-17 academic year, and are recognized among schools across all three NCAA divisions. Pacific joins Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Portland, Saint Mary's, San Diego and Santa Clara as West Coast Conference institutions who are recipients of this award.

To qualify, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.
