STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's tennis team earned its third consecutive win after defeating the University of California Irvine, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 5-6 on the season, while UC Irvine falls to 8-9 overall.
The Orange and Black clinched the doubles competition in Nos. 1 and 2. Maayan Sela and partner Dohee Lee finished first defeating Flora Amiri and Arianna Tilbury, 6-1. Doubles' Nos. 1 and 3 went into tiebreakers with Ioana Popescu and Anneroos Nederstigt finishing first out of the two, defeating Stephanie Hazell and Danielle Garrido, 7-6 in the set and 10-8 in the tiebreaker.
