STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's tennis team earned its second consecutive win with a victory over the University of San Francisco in the conference opener at home, 4-3.
The Tigers improve to 4-6 overall and 1-0 in West Coast Conference action, while the Dons fall to 2-10 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
After falling in the doubles competition, the Orange and Black got out to a quick start in singles with Maayan Sela, Dohee Lee, and Annaroos Nederstigt claiming the first three victories in two straight sets. Sela defeated her opponent, Emily Maxfield, by scores of 6-1 and 6-0.
