STOCKTON, Calif. - The NISC has announced that Pacific has been selected to participate in the National Invitational Softball Championships and will host the first regional round at Bill Simoni Field. The tournament will begin on Tuesday May 16th, with times and opponents revealed during the selection show on Sunday, May 14th at approximately 9 PM PST.
Pacific was selected as the NISC's automatic qualifier after finishing in second place in the West Coast Conference this season, which is the highest finish for the Tigers since joining the WCC in 2013-14. The Tigers closed out the regular season with nine-straight wins to sweep their final three WCC opponents to go 10-5 in the conference and end the year with a 27-24 record.
