ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team dropped two matches on day one of the Mountain Pacific Invitational by scores of 4-3 and 4-2.
Pacific falls to 2-10 on the season.
Match 1: Brown University 4 Pacific 3
Bernardo Oliveira and Akram El Sallaly went unfinished (5-5) in their doubles' competition against Peter Tarwid and Charles Tan.
Pacific won three of its singles' competitions with Ross Watson defeating Jacob Walker in three sets by scores of 7-6, 1-6, and 7-6, respectively. Mikayel Khachatryen defeated Charles Tan to give the Tigers their second one in singles by scores of 7-5 and 6-4.
