PALO ALTO, Calif. - The men's swimming and diving team put up a valiant fight but finished on the short end in their dual meet with No. 7 Stanford on Friday afternoon.
Pacific would take two events on the day in the 100 breastroke and 200 freestyle relay but the nationally-ranked Cardinal would remain unmatched as they cruised to a 151-85 victory over the Tigers at Avery Aquatics Center.
With a travel roster of 12 swimmers and one diver, the men's team held their own against last year's Pac-12 runner ups.
