Stockton, Calif. - It was an offensive struggle for the Tigers at Knoles Field as they dropped their season opener 2-0 to Cal Poly on Sunday, August 21st.
"It was tough," says head coach Kerri Scroope. "This is our first game out here, its opening day for us and we haven't had a lot of time together. We've only been here six short months putting a new system in so there's going to be gaps."
The Tigers came within inches of putting the ball in the back of the net multiple times but just could not convert against a tough Mustang defense.
