Pacific women's tennis and Utah State put on a show today at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center battling in a match that came down to a tiebreaker on court five, but the Tigers came up just short in the 4-3 loss.
With the match tied 3-3, freshman Maya Lopez forced her match with Annaliese County to go to a tiebreaker with back-to-back wins in the second and third set, 6-4, 7-6. County went on to with the tiebreaker in a fierce match between the two, 7-5 to clinch the victory for Utah State. Lopez's last six matches have all needed at least three sets to decide them.
