Tigers Drop Final Home Game

STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific baseball team dropped its final home and series game against Santa Clara on Sunday afternoon, 9-6.

The Tigers fall to 19-27 overall and 9-15 in the West Coast Conference while the Broncos improve to 22-23 on the season and 8-13 in conference play.

The Orange and Black took a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Kevin Sandri grabbed the first hit of the game with a single through the right side. Alex LeForestier stepped up and cracked a double to left field to put Sandri in scoring position on third.
