STOCKTON — The slow but steady rain was the perfect metaphor for the Pacific baseball team’s dreary Friday night.
Saint Mary’s sprinted ahead by six runs after the first two frames, aided by two Tigers errors, and went on to pound Pacific 14-2 via a season-high 21 hits in a West Coast Conference series opener at rainy Klein Family Field.
