STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team made quick work of Santa Clara, defeating the Broncos, 3-0 Tuesday night at the Alex G. Spanos Arena.
The Tigers (7-7, 2-1 WCC) defeated the Broncos (7-8, 0-3 WCC) by scores of 25-18, 25-22, and 25-20.
As a team, Pacific hit a stellar .300 (40-11-100), led by Emily Baptista and Kaitlyn Lines, who each registered a match-best 10 kills. Baptista hit .364 and totaled five digs, two service aces, and two block assists.
Accuracy was really the only edge the Tigers held over the Broncos as the teams racked up identical numbers in assists (35), service errors (10), and nearly identical numbers in digs (38-37) and team blocks (5-6).
