STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific women's field hockey team hosted #17 Stanford on Friday in an America East West Division matchup that saw the Tigers victorious over the Cardinal, 2-1. Alicia Muiños and Hayley Kilfoil each scored for Pacific.
The Tigers improve to 7-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play, while the Cardinal move to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
The Tigers came bursting out of the gate as Savannah Burns hustled down the field right after the sound of the whistle and passed it over to Kriekie van Wyk who found Muiños in front of the net.
