STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team defeated Pepperdine University, 4-2, on Friday afternoon.
The Orange and Black improve to 5-13 overall and 2-2 in West Coast Conference action, while the Waves fall to 3-12 on the season and 0-2 in conference.
In doubles, Ross Watson and Tadiwa Chinamo finished first retiring their opponents, Max Mendelsohn and Brian Berdusco by a score of 6-4. No. 1 and No. 3 doubles both went into tiebreakers with No. 3 singles finishing with a score of 7-6 in favor of Pepperdine to take one point and tie 1-1 in doubles competition.
