Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer team (13-3-2) take on the reigning National Champion Stanford Cardinal in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at The Farm this Sunday at 5 PM. The No. 5 Cardinal are the highest-ranked team the Orange and Black will face since the program was reinstated in 2014.
In their first round game against Cal State Northridge, a goal in the 77th minute by Tariq Branche gave the Tigers their first-ever NCAA Tournament victory. Tyson Fox set up the game-winner as he came streaking up the right side and sent a perfect pass across to Branche to converted to the back of the net for his first collegiate goal.
