SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team competed in day one of the San Diego State University Aztec Invitational on Friday.

- Johnathan Lieu picked up a win in his first singles match of the day defeating his opponent from the University of California Irvine in two straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
- John Horoz Garner battled through three sets with his opponent from the University of San Diego. Garner fell in the first set, 6-1, before claiming a set two victory, 6-1.
