The Pacific men’s golf team began play in the Oregon State Invitational in Corvallis on Monday, finishing the first day of play in 13th place with a score of 33-over par 301 as a squad.
Host Oregon State leads the tournament with an 18-under 279, followed by San Francisco (285) in second and Utah in third (289).
Pacific’s Beau Forest is in a tie for 21st place as the Tigers’ top golfer with a 1-over par 72. Oregon State’s Carson Barry leads the event as an individual with a 5-under 66, followed by San Francisco’s Matthew Anderson in second, and Boise State’s Hugo Townsend in third.
