Tigers Come Up Short Against Texas State, 85-78

STOCKTON, Calif. – Despite shooting a stellar 76.9 percent from the floor in the second half, the Pacific men's basketball team fell to Texas State on day two of the Men Against Breast Cancer Showcase, hosted at the Alex G. Spanos Center.

The Tigers (2-4) were defeated by the Bobcats (3-3) by a score of 85-78.

Anthony Townes was near perfect offensively, making eight of nine shots from the field and three-of-three from the free throw line for a season-high 19 points. Roberto Gallinat had another 20-point performance, totaling 21 on six-for-13 shooting from the floor, including two from thee-point range, and a perfect seven-for-seven from the charity stripe.
