Tigers Clipped By Syracuse

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific field hockey team fell to #5 Syracuse Sunday afternoon, 3-0, to wrap up opening weekend. Savannah Burns and Kriekie van Wyk each had four shots.

The Tigers played a tough first half but Syracuse got on the board first as Carolin Hoffman scored in the 34th minute.

In the second half, Hoffman scored the second goal off a redirect from Elaine Carey to place the ball in the upper left corner and found the back of the net. In the 59th minute, Syracuse scored their third goal to solidify their win.
